Cctv System Design. 3d Visualization

Featured Replies

Dear experts,

We are looking for software package used for designing CCTV systems. CAD version or similar with 3D visualization (including camera zones covered, etc.) would be most wanted. Have you got some brand names to recommend, please?

Thanks!

Never had the need for 3D CCTV CAD myself, but these guys do something.........

You could try Pick-a-point from BBV (Building Block Video) too, I here that's quite good.

Also, try contacting Cortech LTD in Lymm (Cheshire). Worked with before and they're really good on integration (quite expensive though)

Hope this helps

Also you can have a look on IP Video System Design Tool. This software can calculate field of view, focal length, dead zones, and it has a 3D visualization window. Apart from it you can get estimation of other parameters, like video storage space and network bandwidth.
