BE CAREFUL! :realmad:

Most laptops don't need any screws undoing to remove the battery.

Have a look here: http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/laptop/7001.htm

If it looks like that you just slide the latch and pull the battery out

Take it to the PC Doctor!

If you really want to do it yourself you'll need a manual to see how to open it up without damaging anything, and the battery is probably under the keyboard.

Why do you think that's the problem anyway?

Because every time i start i have to go into settings reset the date before it will start and have been told its that battery.

You agree?

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

QFA I did get advice first from an expert before i removed the cover.

You will need the service manual, as some have to lift the keyboard up and some require the bottom taking off.
