January 17, 200719 yr Author comment_144770 when watching on the TV the picture is OK not fantastic. But the recording is worse once backed up onto disk or when played accross the network. January 17, 200719 yr comment_144778 See, wasn't that hard a question was it. If it's not great when viewing on a monitor then it sounds more like the cameras than the burning process are the culprit. From what I've seen of the JPEG2000 machines the network view and backup copies have been identical and these have been of slightly lower quality than live view, but not to the extent where I would call them noisy or unusable. I haven't used a DVR yet that can match network viewing to live view quality.
