just bought a house and it has a veritas 8 based alarm fitted the alarm did eaxctly what it was supposed to do only problem is that it only had to pir's both wired to zone 1! so i decided to add magnetic door sensors etc i presumed this would have been straight forward i've placed all the sensors where i want them i decided then to test the first sensor i.e zone 1 so i disonnected the power and the batt i then held the tamper switch down and reconnected the batt but it keeps beeping stop for a sec and starts again, the sensor function as the zone show open and closed when front door is opened an closed, an ideas?

Have you tried entering your user code? This should stop the beeping.

I assume that you have wired all the detectors/sensors onto different zones with the main entry/exit door as zone 1?
