Problems After Power Outage

It sounds as though the battery was too discharged, and caused an error on powering up. This is a common fault with many older alarm systems.

Replace the battery, leave to charge a few hours... Discon the battery and mains. Power up the panel battery first, and enter your code to silence it if required. Replace panel lid, re-instate the mains, reset alarm system as per user reset instructions.

If the above does not cure the problem, or if you are uneasy following this procedure, then please call a competant alarm engineer to do this for you.
