Yes, and certainly worth the effort. ........................................................ Yes your correct. By law you are only permitted to put a Yagi on the receiver. December 24, 200619 yr comment_140028 I stand corrected then..?http://www.radiotelemetry.co.uk/video.htm Some wireless video senders here.. Just to clear this up and to save confusion it's in 1.3 "Antenna Mounting" section of the instruction manual of a kit i just bought..>> http://www.radcon.com/pdfs/m_cct2440.pdf The licence exempt units in the UK work on 1.394GHz (>500mW) and 2.4GHz (>10mW). The difference being that you may get further with 1.394 but 2.4 is a wider band which is more suitable for more than one camera and audio. If you could use the external housing and mount outside the wall it would greatly improve your received signal and 150metres shouldn't be a problem if it's line of sight. December 24, 200619 yr comment_140029 And don't forget that wireless CCTV is not 'secure'. I was at a clients house recently and he showed me the DIY wireless cctv he had installed. His neighbour had installed the same make, and by flicking a switch on the 4 chanel receiver he could view his neighbours garden (unknown to his neighbour). Good job his neighbour hadn't fitted one in his bedroom!
