October 10, 200619 yr comment_125549 Yup you can a strobe does take quite a bit of power to fire and a quite a voltage also, some of the electronics on board are to there to generate somthing in the region of 2,000 volts or something near that to generate the pulse, not a lot of power is used since it's only on for a split second...
