C & K Securitech 700l :- Easy To Add A Reed Switch?

I just had a nice new front door fitted to my house and would like to add a reed switch to it.

I got Pet IR sensors around the house but when the alarm was installed(a C & K Securitech 700l) they never put a front door reed switch.

I can easely route the wire to front door as the control panel is in toliet next to it.

My question is how hard would it be to add this myself? Im quite "hands on" with electricals anyway as i work with pulling computers apart all the time. I take it i would just have to move all the wires along 1 place on the motherboard in the control box and slightly reprogramme the zones

it is relativly easy and your sorty of right, but anything is easy if you know how. What do you do for a living. Reprogramming will be difficult if you didnt install the system, you will be best placed to contact your installer

Well i was hoping someone on the forum would be able to give me the key press sequence to be able to do it :)

I know what each zone does.

Zone 1 - Hallway PIR and enter/exit

Zone 2 - Dinning room PIR

Zone 3 - Kitchen PIR

Zone 4 - Living room PIR

Zone 5 - upstairs landing and nighttime ommited zone

Imagen this is how it will be after :-

Zone 1 - Front door reed switch and enter/exit

Zone 2 - Hallway PIR (enter/exit if poss??)

Zone 3 - Dinning room PIR

Zone 4 - Kitchen PIR

Zone 5 - Living room PIR

Zone 6 - upstairs landing and nighttime ommited zone

I dont know if this info in restricted though so sorry if it is :'(
