Texecom Keypad With Tag Reader

I have fitted a texecom premier lcd key pad with bulit in tag reader but i have a small problem with it not reading the tags very good some times it pickup the tag frist time other time you have to try 2 0r 3 times can any one help me ?

have spoken to tech suport, they said that i should check the voltage across pos / neg and must nomlees the 12.5volts ckecked that and there is 13.3 volts so no problem there

not sure what to do next apart form taking them out and changing them for new ones but the cost is very high been fitted about 3 weeks not worked wiil since i fitted them

My experience of the Texecom prox tags is that they are very reliable. Not had any problems at all.

Depends on whereabouts on the keypad you hold the tag, and how long for.

tags are placed at the left hand coner of the screen and of been held there for uo to 5 seconds
