martlewis
Finally got my Premier48 and all the detectors and keypads today. Just one quick question, would you recommend using EOL or Double Pole wiring? I have 6 core cable throughout the house already installed so I have the option to go either way. So far not installed a system using EOL before so not too sure if there is any benefit for me. breff
EOL is more secure, double pole is easier to fault find for a DIYer. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
martlewis
EOL it is then, once I've dug out my old tool case with my resistor codes in it! Damn why do they make them so small...

martlewis
Can anyone tell me the difference between eol and eol with anti-masking? Am about to start connecting detectors and want to make sure I make the right choice from the outset.
Guest
if you are gonna use AM resistor as well you'll end up with three resistor all together. how the AM resistor is fittend along the usual DoubleEOL depends of your panel. but not all panels support AM resistors yet. your installation manual should cover this.
