Tamper Problem - Veritas 8 Compact

Featured Replies

I have a Veritas 8 compact installed at my home. It had been pre-installed by the previous owners. It has worked perfectly for the last 6 months but now the alarm goes off intermittently during the day even when the alarm is in "Unset" mode. The 24Hr light is on permanently. I have tried putting a shorting link across the 24Hr terminals in the control box but the 24Hr light still remains on. Has anyone got any ideas please?

Thanks,

Phil

two questions, do you have a rkp fitted?, and what sort of outside bell/siren do you have fitted?

You would only know that the alarm works perfectly if you have had an intruder who was detected by the alarm.. ;) ... What you mean is the alarm has not given you any trouble, which can be a different thing of course.
