April 26, 200620 yr comment_96723 Hi recently moved into a house with Optima XM alarm which had been disconnected from the mains. Have reconnected and responds to customer code but will not reset because the attack indicator remains on. Have tried powering down and resetting but same response should i be doing something else ? regards RobinH Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/10356-optima-xm/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 April 26, 200620 yr comment_96727 do you have a panic alarm button fitted, if so you may find that it has being pressed. it will need resetting before the alarm will reset. Kevin Scott. April 27, 200620 yr comment_96849 How would powering down reset it? You can only reset a panic button in one of 2 ways. Either put the key in and turn it until the window turns green or take the cover off and manually move the inards to the 'unactivated' position.
