Guest robinh Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Hi recently moved into a house with Optima XM alarm which had been disconnected from the mains. Have reconnected and responds to customer code but will not reset because the attack indicator remains on. kka Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 do you have a panic alarm button fitted, if so you may find that it has being pressed. it will need resetting before the alarm will reset. Guest Posted April 27, 2006 Share Posted April 27, 2006 How would powering down reset it? You can only reset a panic button in one of 2 ways. Either put the key in and turn it until the window turns green or take the cover off and manually move the inards to the 'unactivated' position.
