cjd
Hi, i've just sold a thorn security keypad on ebay as it wasn't compatable with my galaxy 60 system, and the buyer has now emailed me to say that the keypad is locked out. Any one have any ideas what he can do to unlock it. I have no idea what happened to it before this as it wouldn't work on my system and I don't know what system it came off before mine. norman
Thorn encrypted the data on the older Galaxy kit, if you have sold it as a 'thorn' RKP then i would explain, if you sold it as a 'Galaxy' RKP then a refund is in order. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool. Can't be un-encrypted. It's a keypad specific to Thorn panels only, he needs a new panel or keypad by the sounds of it.
