Accord XPC icon keypad problems

Featured Replies

hi folks

My appologies if this is a very simple question, i'm a novice and still learning. I have an Accord XPC, i wanted to move the icon keypad to a more suitable location, so i disconnected the 3 wires and moved it. However, now i've connected it up again its not working  there is just no power to it. Not only that but the motion sensors don't work either. I opened up the control panel/box and the tamper doesnt work too.

Help!!

What's wrong with it??

Thanks in anticipation

Sounds like you could have blown a 12v aux supply fuse , have a look inside the panel , there may be a spare in there. ^_^

I agree with FASTCAR, it definatly sounds like a blown fuse problem.

Hehe! Deffo - done this before more than once! Whenever I move or add a device I remove the AUX fuse to prevent shorts. Pop it back in when you're done and hopefully all is ok.

Thanks guys!

I opened it up and luckily there was a spare fuse, replaced the blown one and it's sorted now.

Thanks again to all who replied.
