its all over my head mate. Is this something a local engineer can do? or can i phone british gas

and ask them to reset it for me?

again... cheers for the replys.

A local engineer or BG can reset it for you

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.

Make sure that if you dont use BG that the company you use are familliar with DSC many will claim they can, but in reallity they do not have access to the correct manuals and codes, BG panels have different defaults from standard DSC panels.

cheers for all the advice. But do you mean bg can reset it remotely or will someone have to come out physically?

BG will only do this if you are on contract with them and yes they can do it remotely :hmm:

I would get a local engineer/company to do this and check out the system for you, just in case its more than just a reset the panel needs
