:angry2: Can anyone help I have a Veritas Excel alarm with 1 keypad set to address 1. I am trying to connect my laptop to the system to set it up every time I connect the PC-Com cable the internal alarm sounds and a tamper fault is shown. The Veritas UDL software tries to connect but gets no response also when the PC_COM cable is connected the remote keypad goes blank.

Have you programmed the alarm to accept UDL and are the settings the same on the pc.

I have looked through the installation manual and cannot find any settings to enable UDL

Yes I have setup the software, but the alarm sounds with the cable unpluged.
You should call Texecom if have purchased the software from a normal trade source as they fully support the trade with software/hardware issues.
