    Thanks everyone - it used to work fine but it must be YEARS old .... scrap heap might be the result after I've checked out Peter's comments about the bell/ siren . Again thanks very much for your comments

    My system appears to function fully but once the alarm goes off keying in the code will not stop the siren ? Ive tried changing the back up batteries that has no effect Any ideas please
