  1. The setup has 1 building with 2 groups, and 1 building with 1 group. The building with 1 group is seperate to the main building, with the exception that the keypad in the main building is assigned to all groups. Sounders are seperated per group.

  2. Got a galaxy dimension that activates fine on all groups apart from one group...sounders assigned to that group don't activate but comms goes through fine. Had a look at all the group parameters and output programming but can't see anything out of the blue. Any suggestions? Thanks

  3. Hi all

Currently having issues with the speaker input on a twin alert. It's wired to a GD48 and all is working apart from the speaker input for ee horn tones. I've connected it to the speaker negative (and tried positive) to no avail, anyone else had issues when using a dimension? Can I use a programmable output instead? I was under the impression that the speaker input of the twin alert wasn't designed to be fed DC so being a bit wary! Even pyronix tech support were scratching their heads. Cheers

  4. Found it to be reasonably good, each wireless detector can have it's own activity log which is handy. No issues yet apart from tamper switches being a bit fussy on the door contacts. On another note, it's a bit odd how it doesn't have a speaker output or the equivalent output type of 'ee horn' like on galaxy. Could see it being a pain on a panel change if internal speakers need changing to hi/lo sounders too

  5. After taking over a few SPC systems, I'm now wondering if we should make the move over to SPC from Galaxy. We mainly install galaxy and the odd bit of texecom. I was very impressed with the flexibility of the SPC, the camera Integration and the app. Customers seem to love it too. But is it worth making the move?
