Remember a few years ago, customer called us out because their alarms bleeping. Was someone’s hair straighteners, which were left switched on!!

Is it not zone 200? Output group 199?
-
Easy enough to do through programming
-
It’s seems daft to me when you think that the cables in the panel like the zone, loops, sounder circuits etc are close to the mains cable and connections
-
Travel distance doesn't seem to be more then 45m or reduced to 25 for special hazards?
-
As above
A lot of the time I find L3s can be very similar to L1 depending on the layout so I just go L1 anyways

What’s the issues?

Is that what they charged him or he’s trying to charge you? Have you counted the devices or have you seen the certs? Only asking because if, like you say you have a suspended ceiling, they may have installed detection or even a smoke beam above?

Are they integrated or ancillary base sounders?

Yeah it is specialist, its almost like a blast freezer, I don't believe staff are in there when it goes down to those levels but regardless the sounders will need to be present when they are inside at say -20c.
Yeah I'm sure that would work but cant find the sounder capable. What's a PSI by the way?
Having not been to site I'm interested to how its wired as just been checking the FP200 spec & that's only rated down to -20c.
I will update once I know more.
I meant PSU sorry
-
I'm sure they're is a conventional sounder capable, so just stick a sounder controller on the loop (psi needed) and good to go
-
Usually they try pass it on to their Electrician to try and do

Lots of issues with twinflex! Agree about alarmsense, great bit of kit

Yes, I have serviced many a fire alarm in domestic properties, however all have been detached properties of various sizes.
Mr. H hits the nail on the head as usual, should really be mains interlinked.
Mains interlinked would be installed with 3C&E mains cable.
Would use Alarmsense over Twinflex, DD.

Must be mental using twinflex!!
