It's going to be wierd if the scots get it, to start seeing 'Scottish Delis' popping up for ex pats, selling square
sausage, Irn bru and tunnocks.
Timmo, the arts scene is still very badly paid and with the near demise of the Arts Council,
its understandable that these people turn to a 2nd job to provide a steady income.
WHAT?
-
This would never happen in an independent Scotland so I'm out!
-
You checked the battery with a meter or a battery tester?
Also there are many panel checks that should be carried out that don't take long to define the fault.
I would suggest an upgrade. Upon upgrade and written in your quote all cables will be tested and if fault is found there is a charge of XXX to the final cost.

^^^^^ Chris is going for it!!
-
Offfffft!
-
You mentioned he installed beams at the barn. Are these wireless? Do you have to programme the system from the start?
Are you using EOL wiring?
-
Have you an engineers manual for this?
-
Data, I had a conversation with one of our top customers today. We do all his alarms, access and CCTV and I mentioned because we are approved that our work is inspected...... His reply...."oh right, you were recommended through a friend of mine"
I stated that being approved we can obtain police response and intruders have been caught on his site by plod.
He then goes" ah I remember that but I was called out and phoned the police as I saw people on site" FFS! So his call was attended to right away before ours!
Visual verification is deffo the way to go now and at the end of the day it doesn't matter being approved or not. It's sad but true now.

We should be able to give our customers what they want but I find myself having to spout standards to potential/current customers all the time. I don't mind that but next thing I see is spark company bell on property!
-
I despair at the above tbh.
If you have any problems then please inform us and you will get the info to install the flea bay panel. Not from me though!
-
You pay for van, fuel, engineer time etc etc.
Looking at what you will pay..£50 for panel of flea bay and £95 for external bell....£145.... Then to install yourself?
-
Shakes head at OP.
-
With all the quotes he got it wouldn't surprise me if he was still making his mind up!
-
1k to have your system up and running including software, cards, install rest of equipment to commission of etc sounds a reasonable price imo.
-
14 volts? Panel replacement required imo.
-
What are the readings over the battery terminals?
-
For £199 you would get 1 camera.
-
Quite possibly. As a society though have we come to the stage we would never help a stranger under any circumstances as we assume they are up to no good?
Oh come on FFS. You got done over like a bitch.
-
Matt I don't doubt your brains with ARC etc but you just got feked over mate.
-
Admit it Matt you shat it and nearly touched cloth?
-
No comment!
-
I would start from scratch tbh. All links on tamp then start to connect cables.
-
If I remember these panels right you have a tamper problem on one of the zones. The panel on board tamper will not reset untill fixed.
Was there any tamper connected to the board? U taken link out? A picture of the wiring if you can.

We do top copy for customer file- yellow copy for customer. Top copy attached to job sheet for accounts then put in customer file once paid.
