TS2200 nodes only had 5 zones on them. No zones on the panel as you say, just 6 networks (bit like a cut down 2500 to be honest) -
We've got 2, but obviously they don't work too well It's improved since this photo was taken. -

Just upgraded a job that was running a TS-2200 with 7 nodes and 3 keypads. Just awaiting the dualcom...

I forgot to mention, approved aswell. -
That's a 12 core dissappearing through the architrave, and a 6 core carrying on to the SAB (up the corner of a wall no less)

Ripped it off the back of a shop. Thought it was a dummy! -
Do you know the make/model of the bell box? Do you have a multi meter to test voltages with? Try taking the wire out of 12v+ in the panel; is the sound still "screechy"?
