At the moment non :no:, unless you want police response on the systems you install then you will need to be approved by NSI or SSAIB.

Also a lot of insurance companies will not accept non approved companies on higher risk jobs

But within the next year or so (if inspectorates get their way) alarm installers will come under the same scheme as manned guards etc so you will need to be licensed. :yes:

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
