March 26, 200620 yr comment_92496 Hi eveyone , just a line from a new member to ask for advice , My daughter has just bought her first new house with her boyfriend . And it is fitted with a OPTIMA XL6 burglar alarm , However there is no instruction or manual with this system , also we do not know the four didget code to arm / unarm it . But worst of all my daughters boyfriends Farther came round and tried to reset it by removing the cover , As you may guess the alarm tamper kicked in and now we can not switch it of unless we turn off the power at the mains and remove the battery pack. Has any one a manual on this system or any sugestions that may help. I agree with the previous poster, you really will need an engineer. You will only be able to get a user manual here, and even with an engineering manual it's not a trivial job, and potentially dangerous (mains!). So, decide what you want first, then contact a few local alarm companies to see what they say.
