March 5, 200620 yr comment_89458 Contact your council building control people, they should be able to tell you if it's notifiable. Should is the right word to use Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/9576-alarm-wiring-in-the-kitchen/page/2/#findComment-89458 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 March 6, 200620 yr comment_89534 Thank you, so I guess the phone and CAT5 network point in the ensuite isn't allowed then Depends if its contains a bath or a shower, if so its a SPECIAL LOCATION So that also means that an Alarm install in a detached garage is notifiable work, Low voltage no, mains wiring depends what your doing but usually yes Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/9576-alarm-wiring-in-the-kitchen/page/2/#findComment-89534 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 I suppose it is that or I just get a sparky in, that is a member of a scheme to install the spur side.
