January 30, 200620 yr comment_84894 A simple programming operation which I cant get right. Domestic installation with Z2 a PIR on the exit route. I want to isolate this in the part set mode. Programming Set Z2 to be a part set zone " 02 enter 2 Prog" Set Z2 in full set mode "12 enter 6 Prog" To make it an E/E Zone Set Z2 in part set mode "22 enter ??????? Prog" At this point I think I am going wrong. Is there an option to null Z2 in the part set mode Any help much appreciated Edited January 30, 200620 yr by shortcircuit Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/9147-veritas-8-part-set-option/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 January 30, 200620 yr comment_84915 Ignore my first post. Your right with the 02 option code, the zone light needs to be off. Full set, correct. Now why are you trying to prog a zone type that is going to be omitted. With your first two prog changes it should work fine. January 30, 200620 yr comment_84923 option 02 then select zone numbers required to be armed in part set (light off=not armed) then press PROG. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/9147-veritas-8-part-set-option/#findComment-84923 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 Now why are you trying to prog a zone type that is going to be omitted. With your first two prog changes it should work fine. It would appear that I am putting the zone light on in "02" as all others were off. It is beging to suggest to me that as others have been before I should default the panel and start again Thanks for your help Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/9147-veritas-8-part-set-option/#findComment-84928 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 January 31, 200620 yr comment_84962 Dont default, just make sure Z2 is off in the part set option, all the rest should be on if they are not included. Did not default Reprogrammed as described and worked perfectly. Its a simple and clever panel to programme once you get your head round it Thanks again Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/9147-veritas-8-part-set-option/#findComment-85043 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
