Defence Security / Siren Security

Well, from a quick search, one seems to be NSI Gold and the other SSAIB, so you should be in safe hands.

Thanks Rich, that is good to know. One thing that confused me was that Defence could provide a wireless system except the integrated control panel/key pad and could not provide Digicom (only a link to Seuritas) and Siren could provide wirless with the keypad, control panel and siren hard wired but could provide a seemingly decent monitoring system.........defence totals

garded 595 control panel which seems ok........hmmm

That would be a GardTec 595 then. Good panel, reliable and more than just OK.

We came up against Siren last year sometime (if it is the same company). They were going out with unbelievably low prices. Don't understand how or why. Thought they must have been a dealership but don't think they were. They must have some heavy finance behind them, but if only asking for a one year contract can't see how the long term would be healthy.

IMO you get what you pay for. If something is drastically cheaper then you need to find out why.
