Only if you had a sounder hung directly off the strobe output. If you used an internal SAB it would time out after 15\20 mins regardless of strobe output state. Could do it both ways, but your way the strobe wouldn't carry on to show an activation when you are out.

Either way, if you can sleep through a stack of internal speakers\sounders for more than 15 minutes you're doing well! Chances are the alarm will be silenced within 15 mins anyway.
