Hi guys,

Hopefully some of you guys will be able to help me out !!

I've just bought a new house, which has a "Bentley Symphony Version 2" installed. However, I don't know the 4-digit code for it, as the previous owners didn't know it either.

Is it possible to reset the code on this system?

Anyone able to help ?!? ;)

I've downloaded the Engineers Manual from the Bentley web-site, but it says that I need an Engineers Code to reset the User code.....

I've just had a search on here (should have done it first!) and found that uinfortunatley you're unable to hand out any info like this to Joe Public !!!

Does anyone know an Engineer in the Derby area, who would be able to help me out ?!?

I'm a mod on a couple of other forums mate, and I know how frustrating it can be when people ask the same 'newbie' questions time after time, without trying the search button first !!! ;)

Should have known better when I first posted, but it was 8.30am and I was still half asleep !!!

The panel will need defaulting.

Phone Bentley, for assistance.

Have spoken to Ken Bentley via email, and he has kindly provided me with details of how to reset the panel back to the factory default settings.

Theres a name from the past. Panels were built to last especially the keyswitch panels. Only problem i found was the keypads tended to pack in if they were getting abused by rough fingers.
