hi all, what a great forum this is, so much information its mindboggling.........i am afraid that i cannot add much to this forum, but in do have a query

I bought a house a while agio that has a optima xl6 securtity system installed, the only thing is i do not know the code to activate it.

Is there a master re-set code that i can enter to overide the sytem?????

I am sorry to be so blunt but the fact is i am compeletely stumped at the moment......

Unfortunately, if you don't have the master code then the system will have to be defaulted. We can't give out that sort of information on this site (sorry) so you will have to get in touch with a local installer. If the system has not been serviced for more than a year or three then at least the engineer can service the system at the same time and replace the battery if need be. Thanks for posting.
