I have a burglar alarm system in the house. It was fitted by a previous owner and i dont know the activation code. It is pretty old and the sensor wires look a bit tired. If i cut the wires to the sensors will the alarm go off. The alarm is not armed at present. Also how do i cut power to the alarm safely.

If you cut the wire , the internal alarm will sound , and you will probably blow the aux12v fuse.......you 're not a burglar are you? :D
