September 12, 200520 yr comment_67879 Your back up battery is faulty and needs replacing. It should be changed every 4 years at a bare minimum. The panel will need power cycling and a new battery but you need to check to make sure the charging cct is functioning correctly as duff batteries have a habit of cooking the charging cct on these panels.
