Optima G3 Compact - Zone Programming Help

Featured Replies

Hi. I had problems with my last Control Panel (Omnicron 7000) and after reading the relevant posts on this forum I opted for the Optima G3 Compact as a takeover panel.

My question is this. The new system is in place now and appears to be working fine albeit I want to fine tune the zone programming of it.

Zone1 is the entry/exit. I`ve tested the alarm and the only thing I have not been able to set is as follows, if the alarm has been set and we re-enter via the correct entry/exit zone the timer for code to be entered kicks in, if however during this time I walk into say Zone 2 then it does not trigger the alarm (I think it`s to do with the time inhibited function). Can the system be programmed to allow the alarm to trigger if another Zone is entered whilst in entry/exit mode and if so could someone please help me out in doing this?

MANY THANKS

You need to change zone 2 from time inhibited , to immeadiate.

This is on page 21 of the installer manual , setting up the programs.

When setting up program 1 , option 3 lists the time inhibited zones (default is 2) , just press 2 to deselect.

Best of luck!

:)
