Hello All, Just came across this site after looking for some help.

I was going to train as an alarm engineer but decide to be a computer technician instead so I am Currently at Uni doing a computer Networking course.

I just recently passed my degree and i am continuing to honours year.

I never really thought that intruder alarms would go on to the network. I knew about cctv on the network.

There isn't a lot of equipment you can buy now that isn't IP capable, in any area of anything. There's often a discussion on here that turns to current technologies and integration.
