Guest Glyn
Can anyone help me?, we had an Optima xm alarm fitted in 1995 but every so often for the last 6 months, it will go off for no reason, even when the alarm is not set, eg in the daytime. The only thing I can think of is it might be the battery?. When I reset it, the tamper light is lit but all the zones are clear. About 2 years ago a carpet fitter cut through all the wires on the stairs, but they got them all reconected by an alarm fitter. When I set the alarm if I press the soldered wires on the stairs the alarm will not go off, so I don't think it is the cut wires that are the problem.Does anyone have any idea's?.
