I recently moved into a house with a Texecom Veritas 8C Control Panel. I have the engineers code but the previous owner did not have the code for turning the alarm on/off as they never used the alarm!!!.

Is is a Pre 2000 Model and I need to change the code to be able to activate/De-Activate.

Any help would be appreciated.

To be honest if the previous owner did not use it, the system may have a fault, it could probably do with being checked first. Someone local on here may be able to help further.

If you do not have the original user code, your system will need reprogramming.

If it cannot be put on a public forum can the instructions be e-mailed to me direct or is it that I am not allowed to re-programme the alarm full stop and need to get an engineer in.

Not so much as cant be given out on a public forum, but can't be given out to public full stop, no offence to you, but thats part of the responsibility that comes with this site.

You should either ring around a few local companies and get some prices to do it for you, or post your location and hope someone from here is close enough.
