Hi,

I have an Abacus 6 system and I would like to remove the remote keypad for decorating purposes.

If I disconnect the remote keypad, I have the engineer code, will the programming be lost or is the information held in the main panel?

Yes all the programming info will be ok , just remember where the wiring goes if you are removing it . if in doubt call your local alarm company.

I guess you know what you are doing, but disconnect it at the CCU end first!

Write down all the colours and dont trust your memory!!
