Re optima remote keypads, can anybody tell me how to remove them from wall to decorate behind them. Thanks

It would be easier to decorate around it :( .IIRC the RKP cover just clips off from the bottom, but the pcb may need to be removed to access the screws that hold the backplate to the wall.Removing the cover will create a tamper alarm.

I'd agree with Fastcar.

You "should" be able to reset the tamper alarm with your code, if you do remove the keypad.

It would be easier just to decorate up to it though.

If you don't know......ask.

Decorate over the keypad , and make diagonal cuts to each corner , then , fold back the little triangles,and cut off the excess paper before smoothing up to the key pad. :yes:
