JSB Regent

Featured Replies

Came across a JSB Regent (8-zone) alarm system today.

Haven't got the slightest clue on how to fly it.

I was hoping someone could send me in the right direction regarding a programming manual or any sort of technical data.

Appreciate you can't just give this stuff away, I'm quite willing to conatct the manufacturers if anyone knows who JSB is and how I can get in touch with them?

This particular system had a small radio transmitter fitted (possibly a Rikonet or Rokonet or something).

A nearby Karizma iD Plus panel was fitted with the corresponding receiver unit (on a zone).

All worked fine, the Regent system (garage block) activated the Karizma system house) as well as itself for intruder.

Again all I want is technical gumph in readiness for the day it all goes pear shaped.

Many thanks.

Rocky,

If your in the trade mate why not apply for Trade Membership and you will have access to the Manuals Website with a wealth of information, and answers to a lot of your questions.

Even with the installation manual you will have problems unless you know the engineer code. There is no way to factory default a JSB regent. You might be better off replacing it with something else.

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

(Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

Default master code is **** Eng code ****

default being the word

Please do not post defaulting information on the public forum
