February 3, 200521 yr comment_39216 Hi, The veritas 8C that I installed some years ago has locked out following an interruption in the electricity supply. It will now not accept any input on the keypad, User or Engineer, the power button is not illuminated but there is power to the unit as it alarms when power is removed. I have lost the installation manual so I am stuck as to what to do, I know I can't get an installation manual after reading previous mailings, any ideas? Thanks Chris Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/4981-veritas-8c-lockout/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 February 3, 200521 yr comment_39220 It sounds like you may have a popped fuse on the dc output side, probably due a a standby battery thats way past its sell by date. Best advice would be to call out a local firm (i assume its not under maintenance). You could post your location and maybe we have a an engineer nearby on here who can help you out.
