JSN
First post and it's a very long shot.... I have a 20yr old wired alarm system which uses a Lynteck Nexus 8 alarm panel. Has never given any problems at all. Over the years, the PIR sensors have been replaced one at a time as they’ve failed. This morning, an engineer from the company which installed and maintained my CCTV system, installed a new sensor which he managed to short in the process, blowing the internal fuse in the main unit. He changed it and everything was okay but my master user code had been reset to 1234. The engineer code was unchanged. I have a copy of the engineer’s installation manual but NOT the user guide. The engineer's manual doesn’t seem to mention how to change the master user code from 1234. Does anyone happen to know how to do this or happen to have a copy of the User Guide for the system which they could share? I’ve searched for a couple of hours online without success Many thanks Cheers, Jeremy Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/46882-a-very-long-shotnexus-8-alarm-panel/ Share on other sites
