Hello

Featured Replies

Hi.

I am jo public, and no connections to the alarm industry.

I have a logical mind, and with the help of a kind engineer, I have a Galazy 16 panel with 3 pirs, 1 smoke, 1 vibration, 1 door mag contacts, keypad and bell.

I have had a local company service it for the past 3 years, and in march, when brordband comes and I will be ditching ISDN, I think I wiould like to go monitored.

A few questions therefore.... and I hope it is OK to post them here...

Should I get the local company to take over? ( They are known to be expencive)

Should I go elsewhere?

Should I start again, or is my system up to it?

cheers

Hello jabb,

Your control unit is good quality, and would require minimal alterations to prepare for monitoring, If you think your existing company are expensive ring round for other quotes, or ideally post your general location and someone will be able to offer good advice and a free quotation.

Happy new year.

Thanks so far.

I have been doing some research and could do with some local help.

My old friend is no longer around, and I don't really want to spend a fortune.

I have a scantronic dialer to add, and wish to remove the fire detecter.

Is there anyone on here local to the cotswolds?

HI again jabb,

unfortunately I am not local to the Cots-wolds but would be willing to do it on an expenses basis, Wife, two kids, myself and and it should take about a fortnight.

Awaiting your response. B)
