itsybitsyalarm
I have just moved into a new house and they have fitted a Veritas alarm system. The system works well as designed but is lacking some features that I would like to add: 1. Keyfob enable/disable 2. Remote inform - Preferably over Internet not SMS. It appears that the Premier Elite is the system that would be needed to enable the above. The two things I was wondering were: 1. Can I remove the Veritas hub and install the Premier using the sensors that are already deployed round the house? 2. Can I retrofit a module to the Veritas to add in the Internet side of things & replace thekeypad to the elit/fob based keypad Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/46228-upgrade-texecom-vertias-alarm/ Share on other sites
sixwheeledbeast
Would need upgrading, Veritas is really basic. Smartcom for Premier app needs an installer account. You'd need prox keypad if your calling prox tags "keyfobs", maybe you mean something else. Sensors should work they'd probably be double pole, but I'd replace them anyway.
