I am a retired alarm installer and have just been working on my Gardtec 816, 

I have an old windows XP PC which I keep for programming this and some other old stuff.

Today I successfully connect to the alarm panel after a while it lost communications and I seem unable to get it to work.

I have tried all the obvious stuff:  restart PC, check the leads, ensure alarm panel setting are correct to allow connection.

I am hoping somebody will have some experience with this and can suggest some ideas to help.

the software has a licence which was activated by an anti code ?

 

your has probably expired or the server it used has gone / changed ??
