Hi

I want to update my Texecom Veritas panel which has been in for about 15 years and noticed that the external case has gone dark yellow because of the heat sink.

Looking to replace it with the Premier Elite 24 plastic case but not sure if there would be the same heat build  inside due to its compact size or should I go for metal?

Completely different panel and power supply setup. Premier will be a fair bit more in depth to program.

A plastic cab will always yellow slightly with age but not go brown in the top left like some Veritas do.

Normally that's a sign that the power supply has been heavily loaded, should do current checks.

The Metal cab has a larger power supply and battery capacity, if that's a concern.
