Cmin=1.25(T1xI1+T2xI2x1.75) which is the calculation in BS 5839-6:2019 which is easier in my view as I hate doing division. the T2 is 0.5 which is the same as dividing by 2 .

T1 = 24hours 

l1 = quiescent load 

T2 = 30 minutes in alarm

l2 = alarm load

1.75 = derating factor
