I'm thinking relocate opposite corner and recable see how it goes sound reasonable?

So you have changed the detector?

you have swapped the cores used inside the cable?

You have swapped the zone used ie from main panel to node.

and you still get the same result?

is it going Alarm or is it Tamper when it activates?

i would strongly suggest it is environmental or could be a cable issue still, when you swapped cores around how did you do it?

swap Alarm pair for tamper pair? Or did you have an 8 core there?

Hi yes I've changed from a circuit in the panel to a circuit on An expander I've changed the detector and I've changed cores multiple times to all different colour combinations 8 core (using two cores as on resistors) and is going into Alarm condition

How strange, to satisfy curiosity In this situation I would swap the detector with one from a different room just to make sure, as you know the others don't false alarm.

i would also look at why the suppressor is there and how bad is the ac leakage.

when it was on the node was it the first zone?

Hi I put the surpressor on when I fitted it votages were all ok I put it on as a prevention for the future and yes is very strange never had something as perculiar before

^ What he said. One at a time and 'faulty' detector should either be swapped (or go on standalone test rig to soak etc...)

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
