Nova-Security
If unsure dont even attempt it, these are a proper panel and there are loads of things you need to do just to get it working 3. Setting up the Advisor MASTER control panel There are several options that must be programmed into the Advisor MASTER control panel before attempting to use TITAN. Follow these steps: a) When connecting the panel directly via the J18 (on-board RS232 port) or connecting the panel via the ATS1801 computer/printer interface, it is not necessary to set the following menus: · Menu 29.1 (Enable Remote Up/Download) · Menu 29.2 (Up/Download if any Area Armed) · Menu 29.3 (Enable Remote Control) · Menu 29.4 (Remote Control if any Area Armed) b) Every Advisor MASTER control panel has address ‘0’ as the default. When operating in multi panel configurations with 2 or more panels (only applicable with TITAN Security System Software) you have to set the corresponding panel address in the menu 'Computer Address'. To ensure optimum security, it is advisable to select the following options for menus 29.1 to 29.4: · Menu 29.1: YES · Menu 29.2: NO · Menu 29.3: NO · Menu 29.4: NO c) In Installer programming menu 29 (Computer Connection), note the Security Password for each Advisor MASTER. This needs to be entered in TITAN for each Advisor MASTER to enable connection to that Advisor MASTER. If the Advisor MASTER also has the Security Password Attempts option, make sure this is set to 255. Once these options are correctly set up, continue with installing TITAN. www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name.
