Paul P
Accessing engineer mode - POORProgramming - POOR Programming menu - POOR Keypad buttons - POOR No seperate strobe connections Panel locks up Good points Keypad looks good + i think they have a new keypad out. Plenty of room in panel. 30313[/snapback] I agree with all above except keypad look good. Fitted on once we are thinking of offering the customer a free replacement and putting it in the bin. How about the vicoliser i think they are as good as the sterling Trade Member Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/4081-sterling-10-systems/page/2/#findComment-30317 Share on other sites

Paul P
Yes it has an LCD RKP, we use them no technical problem with them the only down side is short of space inside. We are looking at the new scantronic 9651 about the same price LCD RKP & Metal Box. Any one use them? Paul P
Yes have to agree on both counts when we fitted the 370 we only fitted the metal version after the first few. That is why we are looking at the scanie panel. Mister_Dave
I use the scanny 9651 wherever i can, no probs to report. Wipes the floor with the Eurosec, plus i prefer a metal es. All in all a great panel. And cheap too. Dave Oxendale York based security systems engineer. Adi
Ive not used the scanny 9651 due to the minging keypad but they are redesigning it. Due out next year. I personally use Veritas excel great keypad, but about twice the cost of a scanny. I would use the scanny if the customer is on a budget, but when they see an Excel keypad they go for that one. I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
