June 29, 20169 yr comment_447785 After a bit of advice from the shrewdies on here please. My mum has the above intruder alarm and (somehow) she dropped her walking stick and it landed plum on the panic alarm in her bedroom setting it off. Now, on the alarm console there is a light for attack and it's completely unresponsive. I've turned the electric off but there's a huge battery pack connected. I do get a response when I open it for tamper, but when I put the code in and then reset it goes back to attack/dead mode. Wondering how I can reset it really. Is there a wire to disconnect in the battery to kill it. Also on the panic button, is there an issue in disconnecting the wires and taping them up? Thanks folks Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/40272-sl-compact-issue/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 June 30, 20169 yr comment_447822 Your panic button may require a small key to reset it or if the key is lost open the button up and push the button up the way, screw back and press restore on the panel.
